{ Match made in Manasquan } Manasquan Beach Engagement Photography Session

Although I love spending my days photographing amazing couples, the highlight of my summer has been the 3 weeks I spent with my family in Manasquan, NJ. It was a no brainer to set aside some time to shoot Lindsey and Steve for their Manasquan Beach engagement photography session. All I needed to do was leave my beach blanket for a few hours and do what I love! Lindsey and Steve rocked their session but the highlight for me was bringing my 6 year-old daughter, Sophia along with me. They got a kick out of having Sophia give photo direction… she positioned them on the dunes and you can see her in one of the photos taking her own shots! Sophia and I created our own memories at Manasquan beach engagement photography session and it’s where Lindsey and Steve first fell in love. It was a great day getting to know each other!

The story of Lindsey + Steve….
Steve and I had our first summer of “love” at Manasquan, NJ. We were introduced only once before when we unknowingly spotted each other on the beach 3 years ago on Memorial Day weekend. Steve, was with his group of friends and I with mine. We were sitting feet away from each other on the Manasquan beach! We began talking and ended up hanging out all weekend long and having a blast laying on the beach, walking around the inlet and eating at Gee Gees We continued our summer there having many fun nights, food, drinks, and summer parties at Steve’s shore house. We had one of our first outings a Leggets and many fun nights dancing away at Ospray. Manasquan is at the root of our relationship, which is why it was amazing to relive it all with Chris during our engagement photo session.

{ A Barrel of Laughs } Couture Wedding at Ocean Place Resort

Hey Blog stalkers,

How is your summer? We are real excited to share this Ocean Place Resort wedding with you. Introducing our Amazing Couple Danielle + Juan Perez. OMG…this wedding day was a barrel of laughs! I caught myself turning my head to some hysterical things thinking, “oh no you did not just say that”! We are still cracking up every time we look at pictures of poor Juan bringing the alter floral arrangement to the blessed mother (check out the shot). The church lit up watching him. It was also the 1^st time I had to repeatedly ask a groom to stop staring at his bride. Many grooms are full of nerves but I was proud to see Juan just push the wedding day butterflies aside and soak up the moments.

We got some killer images Monmouth University despite being locked outside for 30 mins. Yeah I lost my sh…t when I saw another wedding walking towards us… to shoot! Needless to say we quickly rocked it inside and then we were off to an amazing party featuring the lights, sounds, music videos and photobooth by Jason Jani of Sound Connection Entertainment . Big shout out to Nicole Chambers and Danielle of Anna Soiree for providing the wedding design planning and day of coordination. Nicole and her staff never cease to amaze us. I wish to also mention the killer make-up by my friend Alyse Quarantello and the staff of the Ocean Place Resort. Ocean Place always produces specular events from beautiful beach front affairs to regal ballroom settings – we always look forward to shooting there!

Congratulations, Danielle and Juan! You both looked amazing and we truly enjoyed photographing you…
