{ Love Endures All } The Barclay in Belmar NJ

I am introducing a fabulous couple with stunning wedding gallery from The Barclay in Belmar NJ.  I am thrilled to tell you about, hands down one of the sweetest couples we photographed this year, Russ + Rachel.  These two bring a smile to our faces without fail!  Whenever Russ visits our studio, we each shout ‘the happy guy is here. Russ and Rachel met through online friends December 2007. One day totally by chance, this American Pro Cheerleader and English Beauty Therapist came across each other, despite residing over 3,500 miles apart. Throughout the 2 1/2 years that followed, they endured all the trials and tribulations of long distance love.

On a beautiful spring day this past April, Russ popped the question to Rachel in his typical dramatic fashion at the top of the Statue of Liberty, in full view of hundreds of tourists. Rachel, taken by complete surprise, said yes!! And so, they began wedding planning – all the while struggling with all that comes with the process of US Immigration.

“Being apart from the person you love the most is heartbreaking but when you know you’re meant to be together, you just struggle through somehow. But, it definitely makes you stronger”, says Rachel. “I’m so excited to finally be here in the US and I truly appreciate each day, now that we’re together.”

Rachel & Russ were married at an outdoor ceremony at Silver Lake Gazebo and Reception at The Barclay in Belmar. It was witnessed by only 30 of their closest family and friends. They wanted a traditional yet somewhat relaxed style of wedding, overlooking the beach with also many creative touches included.

I’d love to quote a part of the wedding speech Russ gave:
“I cannot believe how lucky I am to have met and married my Rachel. From the first moment we met, I knew that I’d met the person to complete my life,” says Russ. “I never believed in soul mates until I met my beautiful English rose. You can say that I picked up the most amazing souvenir from England!! Life is an adventure and I finally have my sweetheart to make the journey with.”
